Dazzling Dahlias

A little past the time … but the late August dahlia show at VanDusen Botanical Garden was inspiring to photograph and set me dreaming about late summer colour combinations: black and chartreuse, lime and lavender, caerulean and the palest primrose yellow … the multitude of colours and sizes, textures and shapes within the dahlia family means there is a bloom to suit everyone.
